SYNOPSIS OF THE DRAMA TITLE: OGBORI ELEMOSO
[HE WHO CARRIED ELEMOSO HEAD]
Marauders led by thier leader “IDAGIRI” constituted themselves in the habit of incessantly threatening the existence of small Villages that can not offer any assistance. “SOUN” the great hunter fighting like a well prepared soldier with his supernatural power subdued and destroyed the forces of the arch enemy.
In preparation of the historic feat, Asunke, a beatiful youg girl was given to Soun in marriage. Baba Ijesa was not pleased with the decision of the Villagers giving away his betrothed Wife away in marriage.
The Ogun night came up and Soun invited friends including Baba Ijesa and his friend. Oleyo to the Ceremony. Soun’s “OSANYIN” fore-warned him of an impending danger. He does not forget the prophecy even in his sleep.
Fight them ensued and Baba Ijesa failed in the fight. Soun was found guilty.. After the sentence, Olugbon then handed the comdemned to the Badirun, Baba Ijesa’s son and when Soun saved his life from the hand of marauders to the prepare a symbolic sign “AROKO”, the traditional method of writing letters to take to the Monarch, His Excellency, the Alaafin[KING] of Oyo.
Already in Oyo, a terrorist called “ELEMOSO”, was killing at will. Soun who was then awaiting execution asked the King’s permission, that is the Alaafin to go in war with terrorist. After serious and deadly encounter, Soun over-powered Elemoso, killed and beheaded him.
The Alaafin extolled Soun. To Alaafin’s beleif, such a powerful Man is good as a leader. Alaafin then make Soun to rule over the area he came from, hence the saying “OGBORI ELEMOSO”

We are very industrous and always aspiring to break new ground for development in every capacity. We have various indigenes of Ogbomoso that have proved themselves in their various field of endeavours.
